Minnows
« on: October 07, 2010, 07:58 PM »
I just got off the phone with Ron at D & R baits. He raises minnows and supplies wholesale to the area. He will supply as many as you need at a real good price. I'm getting 10 dz tomorrow for $15 for this weekend.  He bags them and puts O2 in the bag. He is located off of the 60 and Greenfield in Mesa. His # is 480-694-5207.

Thanks for the great info. A good place to get minnows is hard to find. Good luck this weekend.
GOD BLESS

Ron now charges $2.00 per dz. I have not lost a minnow the way he adds O2 to the bags.

24/7, he will leave them out by the door. You call him with your order, grab the minnows and leave the cash. It doesn't get any easier than that.

Brian what kind of transport "bag" does he use?? do you just use his supplied container or do you need to put them in some kind of a "minnow bucket" for transport to the lake?

He puts them in a heavy grade plastic bag, adds O2 and ties it shut. I have had them last 2 days with that set up as long as you keep the minnows cold. I haven't made any fishing plans this weekend yet, I'm still thawing out.

That is awesome!! That place is less than 2 miles from the house. Now I just need the bite to return!

I'm gonna give this old message a bump, u east siders should give Ron a call. He will leave the minnows outside in an old milk container. U leave the cash for the minnows. I think he gets 2.50 per dz now. Makes it easy.
