Fish Hawk & I fished the Salt end of Roosevelt from Thursday morning until yesterday afternoon. We managed to boat 11 Crappie & 1 nice Yellow Bass during our stay. Biggest slab went 2 lbs for us with a few 1 1/2 - 3/4 fish mixed in. All fish were caught slow trolling double minnow rigs vertical. I know some of you may be thinking, that's it just 11 Crappie? But a pretty good trip IMHO given we're talking about Roosevelt after all. Hopefully the bite will pick up as we go forward. There's gonna be some very nice slabs caught out of Roosevelt in the very near future, again that's IMHO...
