2013 crappie season
« on: February 04, 2013, 08:48 PM »
I found your crappie fisherman forum last month. Nice to discover a site local fishermen sharing some of their crappie knowledge.  Hope to add a few reports this spring from Rosey here as well.  Sounds like Rosey with the dirty water inflow followed by a couple weeks of warm weather could trigger a good spawn, lets hope so.   Tight lines to all.... :sign0144:

AZCrappie has 4 open meetings per year: one in March, one at the Spring Crappie Fest in April, one in September, and the last one in October at the Bob Hirsch Classic.  To become a member of the club, you would need to attend 2 of these open meetings and in the 2nd open meeting would be a vote by members to allow you in the club.  Once you are voted in, you get access to the club house are of the AZCrappie forum where more detailed reports are given as well as you can attend the other closed meetings that occur each month in various lakes across the state.   Stay tuned on the site for details of when the next open meeting is and where.

Don't let all the mumbo jumbo intimidate you.  It's really a very simple process, actually not a process at all.  Just come up for the meeting(s), introduce yourself & hang out.  It's as simple as that.  We're a very laid back group.....
