Is it Crackin?
« on: December 10, 2010, 08:55 PM »
A lot of fish have been caught at Rosey, Alamo and Bartlett in the last week. Are we at the end of another "new lake sydrom" at our Crappie lakes? Don't count your chickens but it looks like "normal" winter patterns are starting to form. Go get em boys and make sure to post your results on azcrappie!

The AZCA will be invading Bartlett tomorrow with some of the best Crappie Anglers in the state. We hope to have good reports to share with you.

Fished the salt end of Rosey Fri, Sat, Sun, Dec 10, 11, 12. My count was 0 1 3 for a total of 4 good sized crappie for the three days. Trolled from around 7am to 11 or 12 each day. There was around 20 boats out there each day. Some boats were doing better than others, but the bite appeared slow all around. I did not have or use minnows which may have helped. The one female I caught had eggs.
