Got on the water with my 3 kids plus 1 around 1pm on Friday and fished in the area where trees were sticking out of the water just out from Cholla ramp buy some buoys. No bites no fish. Fished same spot next day in between tubing and no bites no fish. Tried vertical trolling with minnows and long line trolling with jigs and minnows off the back. Fished in 30ft of water with my bait down 10-15' but now wonder if I was even that far down. Oh well, at least weather was good and campsites nice and clean and quiet. Camped C-loop and only bad part was there was only 1 bathroom and it was quite the walk.
Cholla ramp worked but has some nasty drop-offs. Stay to the way left (as you face water) to let your boat in as it'll drop off and easy to get boat off. I stayed in the middle for putting the boat back on as I found an even spot where I wasn't too deep - still had to back up fairly far though.
