Were you fishing with RookieBoy from The Zone?  He posted a similar pic there

sounds like rookieboy caught the other crappie in the lake :dontknow:

So ya I caught one today on a bass bed. Was kinda crazy. We were way up river bed fishing for bass when we came across this slab. First thought it was a big gill. My buddy tried to catch it spooked it under boat when I realized it was a slab. I waited till he was back on bed and caught him a couple casts later. Also picked up a nice 5.10 bass my biggest.

Ya was at Saguaro.   lake was crazy. Way up river only saw 3 other fisherman. We went all the up by damn

Yes sir that 1 I caught today is back on its bed. Hopefully making more slabs for future.
