Some fish but not red hot
« on: March 21, 2014, 11:55 AM »
Went to Alamo Thursday for a day trip, forgot how early 2AM is since retiring, wow, it is early!
Only caught 13 but  some nice fish, thanks to CraigM for the tips. He is there now so hope he has a great trip.
Caught fish on a variety of things, BBC, Orange/Pumpkin, plain minnow, jig head minnow...etc:
four largest were 8 1/2 pounds with biggest 2 1/4.
Genesis 27:3  Now then, get your weapons, your quiver and bow,and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me.

Surface temp was 57 at 7AM and 62 at 1PM. That was mid like around buoy line. Was really tempted to go into some coves and do some casting but had to leave by 1PM. Now I just wonder if you found the right spot??
