Crappie at Patagonia Lake
« on: September 13, 2014, 11:39 PM »

I got this one randomly after a monsoon storm, fishing for bass.   A week later, my buddy hooked one with a rooster tail.

We have no idea what we are doing when it comes to crappie; we're generally bass fishermen by trade.

On the uphand side, there are a lot of nice bass in Parker and Patagonia lake this time of year!

Thx for the post. I've been told there were nice Crappie in Paty but I've never seen pictures. That one is a very nice slab.

Nice slab.  I've never been to that lake.  Looks like some good brush on the shoreline.
