Caught 3 trolling in coves across from the ramp. Long drive for 3 fish but beautiful day. Size was 11-14 inches.

3 feesh better than no feesh. Good job thanks for the report. May I ask how fast you trolled and if the fish came on the faster side of your trolling like ours did last week? I'm starting to think .08 isn't the standard anymore, but more like 1.0, or maybe it is turbidity related  :dontknow:
Have a Crappie Day

My partner and I caught 2 crappie and 1 catfish. The 2 crappie both came long lining, one on west end of bouy line, one in bay on west side just south of bouy line. Tried fishing shallow with bobbers and minnows and caught the cat. I only saw a couple of others with any fish and I talked to several boater on the lake, most had nothing. Some had one.
When we were at the fish cleaning facility the CG host stopped to see what we had and he said some folks had came in with 15 caught on bobbers. I did not see those fish so that is a "he said she said" type report.
Water is still pretty dirty but better than last week for sure and surface temp reached the 70 degree mark by mid afternoon when it went flat and the sun was bright.
Keep trying!! :D

Thanks for the reports, even not so good reports are informative and give us all hope. I think another trip is in my future.
GOD BLESS
