Can you throw a cast net to catch live bait in this state?

Yes, you can use a casting net up to 4' in radius. But threadfin shad are very hard to keep alive. Make sure to use a LARGE ROUND well aerated bucket.

except lake powell, can not use live shad there. Some lakes around the state restrict use of live bait like minnows that you buy so ck the g and f regs before you head out.
