Roosevelt Lake
« on: April 06, 2015, 04:48 AM »
So the family and I went on an adventure up to Roosevelt lak on Saturday. Camped at Windy Hill for the night. Took a drive down to the launch ramps. One being completely out of water and the other was still being used. On Sunday morning we made braekfast and headed down to the waters edge since we haveno boat. I donned my wadders and out to almost chest deep I went. I saw bass jumping as well as a few carp. I only was 1 crappie in the area and it didn't want anything to do with me. I tried for bass as well but no luck. All in all I need a boat to get out there chest deep and I am only 5'6" so I was close to the shore. better luck next time I guess.
