Cval' I hope you're at the lake already but if not then look up the phone # for the store that is part of the state park and call them. You might even try to call the ranger station to see what's going on. Strike up a conversation with Fishless here at the association, he fishes Alamo a lot and he always seems to find the crappie. Most importantly, try different jig head jig body color combinations and use the favorites, BBC, JOHN DEERE, ACID RAIN, CHARTREUSE try them tipped with minnow and not tipped also try no jig body and just a plain hook tipped with minnow. GO AND GET SOME ROADRUNNERS. The store used to sell them but I think they lost their supplier. Fish where the majority of other boats are fishing. Just go and fish you're heart out cause this is the best spot available to crappie right now.

Good luck,
FISH ON!

What he said is good advice.
