I just got off the phone with his buddy Gabe. He said Willie didn't want a funeral but they will be taking his ashes to Alamo in a few weeks and will let me know the details.

I am truly sorry to hear of Willie's passing. I believe he and I were the oldest of the charter members? Rest in peace old friend! ....... Art

It's hard to say too much without knowing him very well but it is obviously clear he had a big impact on all of you as a friend and fellow fisherman. I wish him, his family, and all of you some peace in knowing he isn't suffering. RIP Willie.
Have a Crappie Day

We shared some grand stories about life in Alaska. He will be truly missed. RIP Willie
