local taxidermists

I'm hopping to get lucky enough this year to catch a slab for the wall. So if anyone knows, or has used
a local taxidermists that did a good job. I could use their name or #. If I do get lucky what is the fisrt step
of preping... thanks

Bill, it depends if you are going to go with a "skin mount" or fiberglass replica? fiberglass less expensive and easier to care for?

HAHAHA!

The guy that did my LM is in Queen Creek. I don't remember his name but he did a great job and charged me less than the others wanted.

OK, so how big do they need to be to be considered "wall mounters"? I can tell ya, the ones I got into a couple years ago at Carlos....... heck, back home in Alabama, 50 of them would have been on the wall. You just dont catch 2 1/2 to 3 pounders on the Alabama River! My buddies couldn't believe the pictures I sent them!!

in 07 I caught a 3 4 at Rosey and I wish I would have had it done. From now on, anything over 3 is going on the wall.

Funny you say that, I seen a 3lb carp caught trolling a grub about 3 weeks ago
at Rosey. NO CARP green or gold
