Fishing knots

I was messing around on Facebook this morning and found an interesting video on how to tie some fishing knots. I've never used any of these knots myself so I don't know if they're for a specific type of fishing or for larger fish. Have any of you ever tried these knots?

I went and watched the video again and the knot my dad taught me to use was the centauri knot, thought we never called it that. I definitely use the Palomar knot for nearly everything now. In my personal opinion, it's the easiest knot to tie and is pretty strong. When I started doing that I pretty much cut my "set-up time" in half.
