Upper Lake Mary "WATER LEVEL"
« on: October 19, 2015, 12:51 PM »
Does anyone know what the water level is in Upper Lake Mary? Thinking of making a day trip up there but don't want to get there and find that there is no way to launch.
I have been out of state for the summer so don't know the situation there, called Flagstaff office of Game and Fish and get their voice mail system which doesn't offer a lot of options.....
Thanks

I fished up there in August. We launched from the main ramps closest to the dam. Had no problems getting in and out. I was in a 14 foot aluminum, but saw plenty of big boats using the same two ramps.

Thanks, was really wanting to go up there but looks like it is going to be Alamo. Then I'll be in Kansas bowhunting till close to Thanksgiving so not sure I'll get that trip in or not. Still some really nice days in December if the water stays soft.

I took a tour looking at my duck hunting spots around Flagstaff

Upper Mary has a bunch of water in was impressed how much water there actually was :o the narrows ramp is closed for the season as is both camp grounds around the lake. The main ramp is in great shape with a dock and one guy was fishing out of a boat. The lake is quite muddy as it always is after good monsoon rains.

Fishless.....thanks for the update. Now I am really feeling anxious cause I would love to hit the lake one time before ice. Not sure it will happen with all that is going on though.
