Thanksgiving Day at Alamo
« on: November 27, 2015, 09:46 AM »
Finally got to get out fishing since the wife had to work!!!!!!!  Christian and I got to the lake about 0650 and on the water by 0700.  We had the lake to ourselves until about 0830ish then only two other boats, one Crappie fishing (zero fish) and the other Bass fishing.  We caught 7 nice ones and missed just about as many using the drop-shot rig along the buoy line.  Called it a day at 1100 and headed home for football and a warm blanket!  It was colder than expected but luckily we had the gear to keep warm.  The ride across the lake was a bit chilly.

Bruce, heard a few gun shots and saw a guy jumping from cove to cove in his little Jon boat, didn't see anything flying though.  Snow birds are there but didn't stir until about the time we left.

Yes, he beat me 5-2!  I think you may want him in the boat instead of me for SCF!   :lol_hitting:
