Fished today with Perchjerker from 8:30 am to about 3 pm. Slow trolling grubs tipped with minnows in the Flotilla on the east end of the lake we boated 26 nice slabs with several jumbos. Missed or lost another 20 easy. Good day, good weather and great company! Thanks Gene, it was a pretty darn good time my man! Good luck to you and Cyndi in Iowa.

Great job Bill. You saw us water skiing over towards Mark's boat because LLL had to leave early. I jumped on with them (Mark and his friend from Noth Dakota...dontchano Rod), and we boated 15 before we had to leave and bust down camp at 12. What a great week out there. Not the numbers of 2 years ago, but a great time. Plenty of fish eaten out there while camping, and stored in the freezer for later. Couple of weeks and that lake will be poppin'...
SEA.....HAWKS....

Any suggestions where the crappie are at now at San Carlos?  I've never fished this lake and of course interested in a few suggestions on where to try this weekend.  This thread says there was a flotilla on the east end of the lake but I may start off on the west side, depending on boat ramp situation.  These lakes are kinda daunting if you've never gone there before.  I bought those fish-n-map maps from Bass Pro so I have names of points and coves but not sure where to start.  Thanks for any guidance.
