Bobby (Crowbait) and I fished Patagonia for 2 days and we only got one Crappie to show for it. We targeted places that he used to catch Crappie when he fished the lake YEARS ago. Caught a lot of bluegill with a few good ones mixed in and that made things interesting. At night we used said bluegill for the kind of fish that eat them. Y'all know what I'm talking about but I wanted to keep this Crappie related so it conforms to the rules and does not get moved.
Using jigs (no live bait unless caught in the lake) from 1/16th down to 1/64th we vertically fished around trees and drop-offs. Nice lake with a lot of structure and good looking areas. Need to go back and figure it out a bit better.
