« on: November 02, 2016, 07:24 AM »
Just back from a trip to Alamo lake and I noticed that my bearings grease was liquifing. Anyone out there know of a good high speed high heat marine grease?

I've been using green grease for a while now and haven't had any issues.  I check my wheel bearing temperatures almost every time I stop since I cooked one three years ago.  In the summer in phoenix the hubs were running at 100 deg F to 130 deg F depending on the time of the day.   I'm thinking if they warm up to 170 they are starting to liquefy the grease and a hub / bearing  problem is developing.
