Alamo or San Carlos
« on: May 18, 2017, 04:05 PM »
Hi guys and girls,
I am looking to put some fish in the pan via any recommendation.
Have not seen any recent posts as to this lake or San Carlos.
Has everyone quit fishing.
Would love to here some news before we hit 100 degree's or June.
Thanks everyone for any replies.

I haven't been out crappie fishing since SCF back in April at Alamo.

I haven't heard any reports from SC, but a guy in the club reported catching a handful up at Alamo. I don't know the details but he was casting the shoreline and worked fast to cover as much ground as possible. That's exactly how I worked Alamo when I fished the SCF.

Heard the spawn is pretty much over at San Carlos lake and the fish are back out suspended 10-14' around brush (might be good time for minnow under bobber) big issue is this persistent wind we have had all week. Alamo never took off don't know why but stayed quiet all spring might try a night fishing trip under lights?
