Goals for 2018
« on: January 01, 2018, 03:06 PM »
What are your goals for 2018?  This topic got me to thinking when I got the registration for my boat the other day.  I still have the 2017 registration stickers sitting on the deck of my boat..........Mine is to GO FISHING! I have not been on the water since Dave and I fished the BHCC at Alamo in Oct of 2016!  Life and work has gotten in the way and it's time to try and put a stop to that and get out on the lake.  Time get new batteries and get hit the water!

I'd like to get my parents and kids onto some crappie this year.  I'd also like to catch a 17" or 3lb crappie.  I'll need to fish more often and the correct lakes though to increase my chances.

I had a few.

1) Buy a nice used fishing boat. Which I did.

2) Spend more time on the water. Which I will soon as it warms up some.

3) Find a fishing partner. Which I did, will see how it goes.

4) Catch the record crappie in AZ. I will work on it.

When in doubt, set the hook!
