Alamo Lake Water Control Manual Re-write
« on: April 11, 2018, 10:37 PM »
Alright anglers. Here’s another chance to have your voice heard about the future of Alamo Lake. The Corps of Engineers is beginning the process of re-writing the water control manual. Take the time to wade through the document linked below, paying close attention to the alternatives already identified for consideration in the water level management into the future. I’ll come back here periodically and provide updates or clarification as possible or as needed.

This is your mission Anglers, should you choose to accept it, ...
As always, should you or any of your Force be caught or killed, the Department will disavow any knowledge of your actions. This message will self-destruct in ten seconds. Good Luck.

In an effort to continue to improve communications with parties concerned about Alamo Dam, the Corps of Engineers has shared a link to the new Alamo Dam Los Angeles District USACE website: http://www.spl.usace.army.mil/M…/Asset-Management/Alamo-Dam/ .

Currently the website contains a link to public notices, the existing Water Control Manual, the EIS supporting the existing Water Control Manual, and a link to the pages containing formation on current lake level, outflow, and upstream/downstream gauging stations. Most importantly the website contains a link to a fact sheet containing additional information regarding the ongoing scoping for the proposed Water Control Plan update.

They hope to shortly have links on the website to all the materials that will be presented during the in person scoping sessions and will be posting the inaugural edition of the new Alamo Dam Newsletter in the next month.

If you have comments on the contents of the new website please email AlamoDamSPL@usace.army.mil.

Sincerely,

Pam Kostka
Alamo Dam, Project Manager
Los Angeles District
