Roosevelt 10/3

On the lake about 9am (we had to renew annual pass). Fished 3-4 habitat areas and pulled the boat out by 2pm or so. Caught about a half dozen crappie and lost 4-5 more. Also 3 bass. 18-25 ft of water. Crappie bite was very light and seemed to be best with a breeze and some ripple on the water. When it went calm/flat the bite stopped.  Used drop shot with #4 aberdeen,  1 1/2 in tube jig with minnows. A couple of the crappie were nice size.

Hey thanks Marc for the report and tips.  Gonna try that lake in the next couple weeks.  It's usually a really tough lake for me.
