Alamo 2/26
« on: February 27, 2011, 12:50 PM »
Tried Alamo after SC wasn't all that great..

Started in 30ft of water at 0800 and wasn't much going on so we moved in shallow 10-20ft and ended up with 13 nice sized ones 12-14". All came off of 1/32nd Beetle spinners long lined and a few off plain jig heads and minnows 3-8ft down. off the water at noon. We did try some minnows and bobbers in some coves around brush thinking they might have started moving in but nada..Maybe a week or two.

You did put on some miles!  East-West Connection right there.  Both of those lakes are going to pop at the same time.  Water temp?

Its not that bad takes about 2hr from my place to Alamo and 3 to SC lots of miles but it is what it is...and since I raise my own fatheads I never have to take a detour for bait.    ;D
