Anyone camping at SC this weekend?
« on: March 01, 2011, 10:41 AM »
I was just wondering if anyone was going to camp at SC this weekend (3-5 and 3-6) since so many people seem to be heading that way. I'm thinking about it but being by myself I'm a bit leery of leaving all my gear ( generator, tent, cooler, etc.) in my truck unattended while I'm out fishing for the day.

If it was me, I'd camp at new goverment. There will be lots of poeple camping there.
I wouldn't leave my generator there but everything else will be OK.
Take the generator with you or bring a very good why to lock it up.

I will be camping out,  but I'm just going to sleep in the back of my Tahoe. I am going to probably just pull out of the way by the soda ramp cause I usually see people with trailers there.  Im locking the generator to the truck and ill b hooked up to the boat so if they dare they can try.

My fishing buddy came through. We will be camping out On Carlos Point Saturday night. I like camping there because is is right next to the flotilla. If you see a couple of guys next to a blue F-250 and red Chevy drinking beer by the fire stop by and say hi. I sleep in my truck as well so no tent. See you all Saturday.
