Bartlett going to drop like a rock for at least 60 days
« on: November 03, 2019, 05:47 PM »
Wow Bartlett had so much water but SRP has done the switch over to the Verde side for water use (flush toilets) and now CAP is shutting down the canal for maintenance work below lake pleasant (repairs on the siphon tubes under the salt river) so SRP will be supplying water for anything south of the salt. Was hoping SRP might use some Roosevelt water but at this point Bartlett releases are at 1200CFS and only 200 cfs out of horseshoe which is about out of water. Guessing the lake is dropping 8+" per day and for 60 days that brings that lake wayyyyyyyyyyyy down without significant rain fall on the Verde water shed. If you use the SB cove launch may need to ck periodically if it is open?
