Alamo 11-3
« on: November 04, 2019, 08:57 PM »
Started out shortly before 7am south end of the buoy line working towards the north end.  Worked the north end (1st 3 bouys) and finally at 9:30am first crappie.  Continued working the area hitting 2 doubles, 10 hooked but only 8 landed over the next couple hours.

Tried fishing deep with minnow tipped jigs originally, approximately 20-25ft with only 2 takers.  Went more shallow, 10-15ft, with better results. Various green combos worked, only 1 caught with orange.

Fish on graph from 12ft to the bottom.  50+ft most of the time.  61-63 degree water.  Trolling at .6-.8mph.

Most of those we talked to weren't doing very well, skunked.  I see a lot of people go blasting through an area once and move on.  Gotta work a known spot and experiment, then continue to work IMO.

Hey thanks for the info, good details.  I've found trolling slower lately worked better.
