Whats the excuse now for them to dump Alamo?

Didn't see any news of info but this morning I see the release is around 800cfs but peeked over 1000 cfs.

Ya, dropping to 1125 or lower for contract requirements for the contractor to start work on the dam. Started at 1000 now down to 500 should stop flows Friday afternoon at 3pm. They say lake has dropped about 6-8" looking at the water from shore. Don't know if  I trust the CORP, will have to wait and see.

Thankfully they just closed the gate back to normal flows but that makes no sense to drop it suddenly just a hair over a foot.
