This is a little late
« on: February 02, 2020, 08:29 AM »
Sorry this is late having some computer prolems. On Monday January 27 , Glendor Johnson , Ron Anderson (new member) and my self fished Bartlett . we started at Noon ,Launched at Yellow Cliffs checked out Alder all the northern coves etc the fish we saw were deep ,we did not see active feeding fish until we got north of the No wake Bouys . There Long poles out, water temps were 50-51 we picked up a few Bass on straight minnows and Aberdeen hooks , nothing on jigs tipped with plastic and minnows , things were slow til just after 3 pm then we got 5 more Bass , one Black nose Crappy up to the boat and lost it , Ron had a real nice crappy on but gave it some slack and it was gone .The score 7 Bass and 2 missed crappy off the water at 4:40 pm . Warmest water 51.55 and action was between the Island and Ship Rock .No where did I find the massive shad schools on the live scope that we found the week before .All of the fish hit when we were below .4 mph some when we stopped ,all on Bare hook and Minnow
