Make all our own, they are quite a bit different than C and C's.

Hey Bob, I'd like to make my own. Would you be willing to share any details of yours, e.g. type/weight of line, distance between hooks and weight, do you use loop knot how big, type/style of weight to limit water resistance/friction etc.?  If I'm gonna make them, would like to get them right the first try.  If not here, could you message me?

Matt,

I have a bunch I'll give you, not sure of the weight on them but they will get you started.  I'll bring them to the next meeting.

I'll try to do a step by step with pics soon and post in another topic.

I was in Cabelas today shopping for long crappie rods. The staff didn't know much about crappie fishing, but the guy showed me a long 12 foot rod that collapsed to about three feet. It looked like a great idea, but we couldn't find if it would support a 1 oz weight. So I came home with nothing. I have been told BnM, southern crappie  rods are good.

Check out Pro Angler Tackle.  I have had one for about 10 years now and it's a dandy.  www.proanglertackle.com
