Roosevelt 3/22
« on: March 22, 2020, 07:37 PM »
Launched from Bobcat at 7am to 59 degree water temp. Water was muddy, and a lot of floating debris at the ramp. We went straight to the back of Salome, where it wasn't nearly as bad. Fished in 12 to 18 FOW trying to stay right over the top of the flooded brush and trees. We used minnow rigs, and one double jig rig trolling at .6 to .8 mph. Couldn't keep the bass off, but did manage one crappie. The crappie was loaded with eggs, so we sent her back. All the fish came on the minnow rigs.

We did venture out mid lake to a few spots where the water was much clearer, but could not get anymore bites. We left at 1 to water temps near 63.
SEA.....HAWKS....
