I’m new fishing for crappie

 How far on the river are you guys go I was Friday pass jack cove and only got 1

Honestly, reports are from all over the lake, but most people in the summer tend to focus on everything above the no wake bouys....as it also gets you away from the wakeboard boats and jet skies. Furthest past the bouys I’ve been was about a mile and a half.  I’m sure there were more where you caught your one.....they seem to be more boat shy ‘this year.
When in doubt, set the hook!

That maybe the reason they was like 14 boats up there on Friday night we never got a bite until like 7 am when coming back home
