Roosie 4/21
« on: April 22, 2020, 07:36 AM »
We had a slow morning yesterday boating only 5 crappie and 3 bass trolling in the Salt end. My neighbors caught 16 males in the shallows casting jigs. The wind came up a little after 11 and really blew! .....Art

Art,

Would you say the spawn is completely done?

Yes. I'm  hearing the crappie being cleaned are void of eggs. They were sneaky! ......Art

Thanks Art.....they were sneaky for sure.

Any good game plan for post spawn crappie on a full to the gills Roosevelt? It's been so long since I've been Rosey post spawn in a full lake I can't remember their patterns at these levels.

Thanks again Art....Brian

That is good to hear Art, they had lots of places to hide and spawn this year the scratches on my boat attest to that. After what appeared to be a weak spawn last year I sure hope they had a good spawn this year for the future of the lake.
