Roosevelt Sun Nov 29
« on: November 30, 2020, 07:52 AM »
On the lake 8:30am launched at Schoolhouse (first time in probably 5+ years launching from there) only 2 other boats launched there - where is everyone?  Fished Salt side up until Windy Hill and caught about a dozen crappie.  Many were small in the 10-11" range we released and kept 6 of the larger ones for our freezer.  We caught most near the bottom ranging from 20 to 30ft of water using drop shot rig with single hook and we did catch some using double hook vertical trolling setup. Thanks Art and swikmo for your prior reports! Nice to have 3 lakes producing currently (Alamo, Roosevelt, and Bartlett).  With this weather if you're not out catching crappie you should be!
We didn't catch our 3lb wall mount so still on the hunt.

I fished Friday and Saturday and there were probably 20 trailers or more at Schoolhouse...
