Pleasant 3/5
« on: March 05, 2021, 06:38 PM »
At the the Castle Creek boat ramp 7:30am found passenger boat windshield broke in a million pieces. Ouch. On the water 7:45 whitecaps and rollers what weather forecast said 6mph winds.  Fished Humbug mostly but did stop in Coles and Castle Creek didn't see that many other crappie boats.  Wind did die down wasn't too bad most of the day.  We got blanked on crappie.  Like the amount of tree/brush in the back of those coves though.  The no wake buoys at each entrance slow everything down and takes awhile to get back there.  May try again in a few weeks.

The wind could be 0 MPH at that lake and you'll still see white caps. Nothing about that lake is pleasant. haha

The crappie are there, they're just tough to find.
