I brought my boat and had newly voted in member USAOutdoorsman fished with me. We fished the Salt river side around Windy Hill and further up by Schoolhouse area. We started off really slow not a bite for a few hours. Finally caught a couple crappie and a few bass. Fellow anglers FishHawk and cousinlll donated us a 3rd crappie so we'd have enough for a fish fry. Weather was cold until about 11am it finally started warming up. We were off the water by 1:30pm. Our 2 fish were caught on jig with minnow (trolling off the back) and bare hook with minnow (vertical trolling off the front).
