Congrats to the National Crappie League Arizona trail Angler Team of the Year to Randy Howton and Cameron Gilliam. They scored a total of 896 points over 8 tournaments weighing in an average of 8.94lbs per tournament. 2nd place went to Florin Nesiu and Andrew Nesiu with 878 points and 3rd place to JT Butler and Eric Minar with 864 points.
Over 20 teams participated in one or more of the 8 tournaments this season with 6 teams attending all of the tournaments. Some of the top teams have been invited to attend the Mr Crappie Classic 2024 Invitational & Expo in Branson, Missouri in November so let's wish them all luck and hope they can represent Arizona well by bringing home a trophy.
This is the 2nd year of a national crappie tournament trail in Arizona, and it could not have been possible without the help from others both through giving their time as well as financial donors/sponsors.
