There's a very good chance I'll make it out there with my parents later this week and if I do, I'll stop by or see you at the same old fishing area.  Is docking at the main ramp with 2 wheel drive still o.k.?

Bud Light......  That's a deal breaker right there!!     If i get out of work early on Friday I just might make another quick trip up there.  I have another gadget or two that's guaranteed to catch fisherman... I mean Crappie to try out!

blew out my zipper...on the tent at alamo last weekend. so i might need to test out the new one fri night weather depending.
spent along time looking at tents. ended up buying a cheap euraka. the newer nicer all seemed to require the fly to be on for any privacy with seperate stakes for vestibules. its a tent vetibules really. 70 bucks for the three person tetragon simple two pole anf the fly is alot sturdier than last version tent the trekker.

The tent I brought to Alamo was one I used once before about 6 years ago. Forgot it was a summer only tent. Zipper got stuck on the bag too. BRRRR was it cold. I just bought a Big Agnes Jupiter's Cabin, 4 person tent from Backcountry.com They are on sale at $187. A 3-season tent that is self standing. 2 day free delivery.

Thinking about going out today??? Plenty windy???? Does the lake still get rough being it is so narrow??? Could always go tomorrow. Thanks for the advice.
