Title: Lake Pleasant 2/6/21
Post by: SlabHunter on February 06, 2021, 05:51 PM
Fished from 6:30am-1:30pm. Humbug and Castle Creek. Was an early bite. Everything seemed to shut off about 11:00am. 20+ crappie caught and all released alive. Most fish were from 25-45 feet. Jig bite for every one and no live bait.. Water is up and water temp was in the 50's.  8)

Nice job, I was in Humbug a couple weeks ago with no luck but did mark some good looking stuff for the spawn this year. If you can share were you vertical jigging in tree's.

Yes. It seemed to be a mix of in the trees and outside of the trees.

Nice haul Slabhunter! Was it a mix of black and white crappie?

Most were white. 3-5 of them were black. Several of the whites were fat little footballs! :headbang:
