Title: 10-24
Post by: Philbie on October 24, 2020, 07:38 PM
Rough start with the Deck Park Tunnel shut down due to a crash and anoth one at 91st Ave with a semi on its side and 5-6 cars and a dozen bubble gum machines.

Àt the lake at 7am.  Cholla ramp was jam packed.  Some GC tournament.

Fished bouy line first.  Graphed thousands of marks 7-25`.  Minnow would go crazy at times and then nothing.  No minnow.  Pretty sure Bluegills were tagging the bait (dad finally hooked one late).

Worked uplake to the trees and finally caught something, 3 bass and eventually the gill.

Water temps 73-75 degrees.  Water visibility was 5-6` maybe a bit more.  Didn't notice any algae.

Thanks for the report, long drive when you have to sit in traffic forever to even get out of town. Wish State Parks had a way of listing upcoming tournaments on their website so people could plan around the zoo :dontknow:
