Title: Night fishing now?
Post by: 85260man on May 31, 2022, 11:38 AM
Is this a good time to start considering night fishing for crappie suspended around rock walls/deep structure or would I have better luck when it gets even hotter?

There have been reports of guys doing pretty good at Bartlett and Rosey at night. I've been thinking about heading out to Bartlett on a Thursday night soon.

I don't know if it gets better when hotter but I think moon cycle may matter plus having good night lights.  I bought a good set (SuperBrite 8000-X2) but haven't used them but once. You could probably do well as PhishingPhreek wrote at Roosevelt or Bartlett but probably also Pleasant or Alamo.  Maybe we'll try and get the June meeting to be a night fishing meeting.

Thank you both.  Went out to Bartlett on Saturday and posted my report.
