Title: Rosey 3/10
Post by: Tweeder on March 10, 2019, 10:34 PM
Took dad and a friend out, got up there pretty late.  Water is stained but I have seen worse.  18 in vis at Windy Hill, maybe 2-3 foot vis mid lake maybe a mile past the damn, little debris.  water temps 57 to 62. Hit my first waypoint and structure is in 40-45ft of water now.  Really only worked two areas and graphed a lot of fish but only a few short strikes to show for it. Got the skunk out of the way I hope and oddly enough there was a fresh one takin a nap in the road near top of the world.  I am superstitious too so now dead skunks on the way to fishing trips are going to be a bad omen for catch rates.  We used drop-shot minnows mostly but threw some jigs as well.  Dad caught a nice tree, that was fun to watch.  There were active fish too, some bass busting shad and lots of carp.  Couldn't have asked for better weather.
