Title: San Carlos - Water Level Update
Post by: OneBlade on July 24, 2020, 11:51 AM
If you recall, San Carlos dried up (again) June 2018.  Saw on another page: Per a tribe member - San Carlos Lake is about 30%, and both gates are open and letting the water flow out. Locals are catching small catfish, but no crappie reports.

Not sure if it's true, lake does go down every summer we'll see how low it goes.  You can track level here:

It is to bad the tribe could not sue (since it does not cost them anything) to have the minimum pool increased on that lake so that there is not a die off every couple years. Not much coming into the lake from the Gila river.
