Good afternoon fellow slab hunters. Are you all going to Alamo to pre-fish for Spring Crappie Fest this weekend or are any of you venturing out to San Carlos? Marvin and I will be @ San Carlos early Saturday morning. If you see a gray and black 17' Triton with a couple of rather large human beings in it please stop by and say hell-o Hopefully we will have some fat fish in the live well and not just a couple of heavy weights sitting on our backsides wondering what the hell we are doing wrong.

See you all @ Alamo 04/08/17 if not before

Old man needed a day to recover. SLOW SLOW SLOW 6 crappie 3 dink bass and 1 carp 10 lbs. We did better than most but not as good as another boat or 2 Probably 15-16 boats on the water. Lake looks good and fishy but I think the small front that went through Thursday and Friday of last week shut them back down. We trolled double rigs, drop shotted, casted to the bank, tried bobbers, about the only thing we did not try was trolling crank baits.
On the water @ 7:30 off the water @ 3:00
