Title: Spring Crappie Fest 2017
Post by: OneBlade on March 29, 2017, 12:24 PM
Spring Crappie Fest 2017 is about upon us.  Please print out the attached derby form and bring with you filled out with exact change to enter the derby.  Please note because we are camping in Cholla 'C' loop (see http://www.azcrappie.com/forum/index.php/topic,3302.0.html for camping info), the derby director will be taking entries in that 'C' loop, and that's also where the weigh-in will be.  Do NOT go to the parking lot or launch area and think I will be there.

Show your appreciation and bring Matt some coffee and maybe a cinnamon roll!

disregard what I said about main ramp for some reason I thought camping was near the store and not over near Cholla ramp

Don't forget to print out, fill out, and bring exact change!  There is a slight chance I'm coming out of retirement to fish this one - we will see.

Just a heads up, rangers just put a 3 dozen limit on minnows until delivery on Saturday morning.
Everyone be safe.

Congrats to all the winners and participants that braved some pretty strong winds. Matt & Tom good job I just want to know who weighed your fish and if Matt did why didn't you also get big fish. Just bustin chops because I was unable to attend. Looked like a hell of a meal and like Billy E. stated a good party.

Thanks guys!  "on the rocks" - I tried to switch scales during my weighin but everyone was looking  :fish:

The food of course was great everyone has really stepped up their game on that.

Tritoon and wife did a great job frying the fish with their fryer (sounded like a jet).

Thanks to everyone who helped make the event a success again this year.
