Title: Crappie fishing in Tempe?
Post by: bbirch on October 04, 2011, 08:52 AM
:banghead:Does anybody know how the crappie fishing is in the Tempe area? or where its best. I like to escape for 2-3 hours some times and that doesn't leave much time for travel. Any help would be great.  :sign0144:

Bartlett lake isn't that far of a drive if you live near that area.  Do you have a boat?

there are a few crappie left in tempe lake, I think it is several of the lakes in Scottsdale have crappie (some are private) but I know people that fish them without getting runoff? not sure which ones though

bartlett an hour drive from Scottsdale and you can drive up and do a quick walk and fish the fishing dock at rattlesnake cove and catch crappie
