Title: Bartlett 9/23
Post by: OneBlade on September 24, 2018, 08:26 AM
Took a quick trip to Bartlett with my youngest.  We missed the good fishing there in the spring so figured we needed to check it out.  On the water 7:30 and off by 11:30.  Fished Yellow Cliffs Cat Bay area and picked up a few crappie and ba$$ vertical trolling minnows.  Wasted a lot of time not over trees trolling around the area should have just spent time focused at each tree.  Left with fish biting but was getting hot and the bees were annoying us.  Released all fish back to the waters. Also, took a dip in the lake right over a tree and I swear I had fish nibbling my toes.  I felt hits multiple times thought maybe it was the tree top but I don't believe the tree top tips were that shallow.

Most likely were blue gill  nibbling, they used to tear up on the hair on my legs. Glad to hear you caught some fish, is the ramp still in the water?

Yellow cliffs SB cove was closed - I had to use the main Jojoba ramp.
