Title: fees to fish lakes here

  I moved down here, and now think I made a mistake, I can't believe all the fees just to get on a lake to fish. In the White mountains we have none of that crap there. It's sure disappointing to learn how much it costs to just get on the lakes with my boat. The Apache National Forest has no such fee schedule to use the lakes up there.  :dontknow:

Yep. It stinks. You guys don't have the population density up there that drives the fees. Some people are so trashy that the TNF has been forced to completely shut down some areas. Cleanup costs far outweigh the fees.

Get a yearly pass.  If you go those lakes the lake 10 times, it is even money.
