Title: Bartlett 11/9
Post by: OneBlade on November 09, 2019, 07:48 PM
Launched at Yellow Cliffs 7:30am and headed to Cat Bay. Fished there for the morning and caught 5 keeper crappie.  Caught a couple Blacknose but threw them back to grow bigger (see picture below they're already 11").  Lost more fish than normal this trip - thinking might be good to switch out the hooks on the double-rigs they've been used quite a bit.
We saw several of the habitats out of the water and went to fish one but it was just too shallow.

Thanks for the heads up about the habitat structures being out of the water. We don't plan on moving them deeper because they won't be fishable much of the year. Hopefully we get a good winter storm similar to last year and the water level will rise quickly.
